Survey of streams of European painting from the late 18th century to the end of the 19th century with the accent on the profiled personalities. A special interest is led to discovering of long time tabooed blocks in the development of the 19th century (so called "little troubadours", naturalism, salon painting, neoromanticism).

The finished first semester of the bachelor degree of the History of Art.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam
Submitting written work within minutes. 7 pages, its analysis, presentation of the chosen topic of European art in the range of 5 min., Analysis and provenance characteristics and classification by visual demonstrations.
