Learning outcomes
|
Lectures are concetrated on sculpture of the 16th century in Italy. The key personality is Michelangelo Buonarroti (1475-1564). The work of Michelangelo is confronted with the work of his contemporaries and with the work of some younger sculptors (Andrea and Jacopo Sansovino, Baccio Bandinelli, Raffaello da Montelupo, Benvenuto Cellini, Bartolomeo Ammanati, Giambologna) as well.
Detail knowledge of Italian sculpture of the 16th century.

The finished first year of the bachelor degree of the History of Art.
