Course content
1. Development of French Gothic Cathedral in 12h and 13th century 2. Development of French Gothic Sculpture in 12h and 13th century 3. Mural paintings in St Catherine Rotunda in Znojmo 4. Chapel of St. Erhardus and Uršula in Cheb - architecture and sculptural decoration 5. Development and typology of castles in 13th century in Bohemia and Moravia 6. Convent of St Agnes of Bohemia in Prague - architecture and sculptural decoration 7. Cistercian´s monastery in Předklášteří by Tišnov - architecture and sculptural decoration 8. Wooden sculpture of 13th century in Bohemia and Moravia 9. Architecture of era of Přemysl Otakar II. on the territory of Austria

Learning outcomes
The lecture is concentrated on development of Fine Arts in the Czech lands in the Přemyslid era in the main categories: architecture, sculpture, painting and artistic crafts. The attention is paid to the selected works of art from the perspective of their iconography, style and their cultural-historical background.
Basic knowledge of art history in the Czech lands between 1000-1300.
Prerequisites
Subject is designated for students of Bachelor study of History of Fine Arts.
