Learning outcomes
The lecture is dedicated to the history of world architecture from the World War II until today. The emphasis is put mainly on the contribution of the big inventive personalities, it mainly analyses the work of Le Corbusier, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Louis Kahn, Luís Barragán, Robert Venturi, Aldo Rossi, Peter Eisenman, Steven Holl, Rem Koolhaas and the team Herzog-de Meuron.
The graduate will understand the history of world architecture of the second half of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century.
Prerequisites
Basic overview of the history of art and architecture.
