Course content
1. Architectonical monuments from 11th century preserved in the Czech lands. 2. Coin depictions on the deniers from 11th century in Bohemia and Moravia 3. Illuminated books from 11th century from Germany, which were later imported to Bohemia or were executed for Czech clients. 4. Romanesque architecture in the Czech lands in 12th century with special regard to monuments preserved in Olomouc and Moravia. 5. Basic monuments of Romanesque mural painting in Bohemia and Moravia. 6. Scriptorium of bishop Jindřich Zdík in Olomouc and its illuminated books.

Learning outcomes
The lecture is concentrated on development of Fine Arts in Czech countries in the Přemyslid era in the main categories: architecture, sculpture, painting and artistic crafts. The attention is put to the selected works of art fom the perspective of their iconography, style and their cultural-historical background.
Basic knowledge of art history in Czech countries between 1000-1300.
Prerequisites
Subject is designated for students of Bachelor study of History of Fine Arts.
