The topic of each term will be different: academic year 2014/2015: Italian painters in Moravia in the 17th century: Carpoforo and Giacomo Tencalla academic year 2015/2016: overview of the history of the ceiling painting in Czech lands

Learning outcomes
|
The course is designated for students of History of Fine Arts of the 1st or 2nd class of the MA. It brings information about painting in Moravia and Bohemia in the 17th and 18th centuries. Lectures of each accademic year will be held on different topic. The cycle will be repeatet only after 3-4 years.
The student will get deeper insight into the Baroque painting in Czech lands, History and Culture of Central Europe.

Prerequisites
|
Good knowledge of basic history of Art and terminology, good knowledge of the painting of the 17th and 18th centuries in Czech lands, no other prerequisites.
