Course content
The topic of each term will be different: academic year 2014/2015: Italian painters in Moravia in the 17th century: Carpoforo and Giacomo Tencalla academic year 2015/2016: overview of the history of the ceiling painting in Czech lands academic year 2016/2017: Olomouc bishop Karel II. of Liechtenstein-Castelcorn 1 academic year 2017/2018: Olomouc bishop Karel II. of Liechtenstein-Castelcorn 2

Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming)
  • Homework for Teaching - 150 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course is designated for students of History of Fine Arts of the 1st or 2nd class of the MA. It brings information about painting in Moravia and Bohemia in the 17th and 18th centuries. Lectures of each accademic year will be held on different topic. The cycle will be repeatet only after 3-4 years.
The student will get deeper insight into the Baroque painting in Czech lands, History and Culture of Central Europe.
Prerequisites
Good basic knowledge of the painting of the 17th and 18th centuries in Czech lands.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam

Final exam and other requirements specified by the lecturers, especially reading many articles and books.
