Course content
Lecturing issues and guidance seminar students of bachelor's degree in selected topics in art history.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide students of the doctoral degree program with insight into university pedagogical practice in the field of theory and history of art, mainly in the form of a prepared talk in a course taught by their supervisor, where they will demonstrate the ability to translate their research into teaching. The topic of one or maximum two talks or seminar activities are prepared exclusively for students of the bachelor's degree program upon consultation with the supervisor. The students consults his/her preparation for the talk with the supervisor in advance including the use of appropriate literature, the structure of the talk/seminar and the form and scope of the presentation. This subject will be followed by variants 2-4 with the same guarantor, teachers and requirements.
Doctoral students acquire and apply skills to lecture and lead workshops.
Prerequisites
Readiness of doctoral students in the transfer of knowledge to the audience.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

The subject can be completed by the implementation of pedagogical practice in the form of a talk in a class taught by the supervisor, where the students proves his/her ability to translate his/her research into teaching. The student must have either two separate ninety minute lectures, or one ninety-minute lecture, plus additional input into teaching for a minimum of ninety minutes. The student should carry out the specified teaching exclusively in the bachelor study program. The supervisor must be present to provide feedback to the student. The topic of the lectures or seminar exercises is prepared by the student exclusively for students of bachelor studies, and only upon consultation with his/her supervisor. The student needs to consult the use of literature, lecture/seminar structure, form and extent of the presentation with the supervisor.
