Learning outcomes

The course is aimed as an introduction to the study of the island of Taiwan, the Taiwan region of China, while the Republic of China on Taiwan as a state department. Discusses the above-defined area of the historical, political, cultural, literary, film, religious and social aspects. In particular, it focused on the formation of Taiwan's identity against the backdrop of the ideological conflicts of the post-colonial multicultural society modernized island.
