Course content
Students prepare oral presentations on current important articles in foreign scientific journals, which are accompanied by a moderated discussion.

Learning outcomes
The seminar is focused on a more detailed acquaintance of students with the research topics in the field of bioinorganic chemistry, especially at the Department of Inorganic Chemistry, Faculty of Science UP, but also at other institutions in the Czech Republic and abroad. Oral presentations on current important articles in foreign scientific journals are being prepared, which are accompanied by a moderated discussion. The results of research and development of employees and students of the Department of Inorganic Chemistry, as well as other departments of physical chemistry, analytical chemistry, organic chemistry and their guests are presented.
Apply knowledge of chemistry to understand foreign scientific literature and the ability of its public presentation.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of general and inorganic chemistry. Active use of literature research and study of foreigh scientific papers.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

The student has to attend all seminars and refer requested number of oral presentations. Furthermore, the ability to understand a scientific article and its subsequent presentation and explanation to the audience.
