Learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture
Learning outcomes
The lecture expands knowledge in the field of inorganic chemistry and is focused on a basic description of the course of chemical reactions of inorganic and coordination substances, as well as on the possibilities of using kinetics in inorganic chemistry. It is intended for students of the follow-up master's study of inorganic and bioinorganic chemistry, but also for students of teacher training in combination with chemistry.
Describe different mechanisms of chemical reactions especially in inorganic chemistry, the relation between the rate law and mechanism and the relation between mechanism and structure of complexes and simple inorganic compounds. List the experimental methods and handling of data for slow and fast reactions.
Prerequisites
The basic knowledge of inorganic and coordination chemistry.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam

To successfully pass, the student must pass the written part of the exam (passing the test over 60%).
