Course content
" laboratory safety " balances and weighing; Work with glass and stoppers " filtration and crystallization " decantation and washing on filter " simple and vacuum distillation " steam distillation " sublimation, determination of melting point " extraction " thin layer chromatography and titration " measurement of volume, solutions; determination of solubility " determination of density of liquids and solids " solid materials drying " cooling, cooling mixtures; work with gases

Laboratory Work

Learning outcomes
The course introduces students to basic procedures and skills at work in the chemical laboratory.
Apply knowledge of basic chemical operations and general principles of chemistry
Prerequisites
Chemical knowledge within the scope of grammar school education and basic laboratory skills.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

To pass the seminar and obtain credit student have to accomplish 100% attending on the seminar, submit protocols from each lesson.
