- what are inorganic and coordination polymers, how can we describe them, what types of polymers do we know and their classification o methods of preparation of inorganic and coordination polymers, step and high temperature condensation reactions, chain polymerization, chain opening polymerization o condensation oligomeric and polymeric reactions, diverse synthesis, methods of inorganic characterization polymers (gel chromatography, determination of temperature parameters, spectroscopic characterization) o polyphosphazenes, their history, reactivity and properties, the relationship between structure and properties o polysiloxanes and related polymers, their history, methods of preparation and properties o polysilanes and their analogues, their history, methods of synthesis and chemical modification, chromotropism, luminescence and photodegradation of polysilanes, structural arrangement in polysilanes o various inorganic polymers containing other p-block elements (e.g. germanium, sulphur, selenium, tin) o metal-containing polymers, coordination polymers, metal-organic frameworks o pre-ceramic materials and ceramic materials, glass-ceramic materials, binders o practical use of inorganic and coordination polymers in various areas of life, in medicine

The lecture expands knowledge in the field of inorganic chemistry and is focused on the characterization of inorganic and coordination polymers and new possibilities for their preparation and use. It is intended for students of the follow-up master's study of inorganic and bioinorganic chemistry, but also for students of teacher training in combination with chemistry, or related chemical study programs.
It defines inorganic and coordination polymers and their physicochemical properties in general and basic types of inorganic polymers such as polyphosphazenes, polysiloxanes, metal-containing polymers and preceramic or ceramic materials. Describe methods of preparation and characterization of inorganic polymers and their possibilities of use in practice. |
