Course content
This specific topic is dedicated to mentoring postdoctoral students in scientific communication. The dominating deliverable is a paper review. As a side product, topics like also elevator pitch, poster for general public, travel fellowship, career reflection can be also provided. A student will write a scientific paper in a standard ready for peer-review. One reviewer statement will be collected from his PhD advisor ensuring a substantial quality of the manuscript. PhD advisor will also specify the Publication name, estimated date of the submission and discloses student's contribution to the manuscript. Note that any material already submitted to a publisher cannot be accepted for further consideration. Guarantor will then provide the editorial decision to which a doctoral student will respond by point-by-point responses in English. The seminar will be concluded by a joint meeting with an advisor aiming at further improving the scientific text to reach higher "Article Influence Score".
