Course content
In the third semester, the interpretive line of the spectra of the unknown substance is filled. In preparation for the actual thesis defence, the course also aims to teach students to present their experimental results clearly and comprehensibly in oral form (lecture with presentation of results, Czech, Slovak and English). The course culminates in this presentation and discussion of the chemical structure of an unknown organic substance. The course will include hour-long lectures by invited lecturers (from outside Olomouc, from abroad), if possible. Practical aspects of working with scientific literature are emphasized.

Learning outcomes
The major seminar aim is teaching students to clearly and precisely present their data in both written and spoken forms.
Integrate knowledge, propose solutions of analytical problems, formulate conclusions
Prerequisites
The knowledge of basics of analytical chemistry and instrumental methods of analytical chemistry is recommended.
