Course content
Determination of conserving substances (HPLC, CE); Identification of unknown polymer (elementary analysis, analysis of solutions, IR); Partial analysis of calcite for sugar industry (gravimetry, volumetry, AAS); Determination of principal parameters of soil (volumetry, ISE, flame photometry, AAS); Determination of Cu and Ni in sample of steel (dissolution in acids, voltammetric analysis); determination of Cd in poppy seed (dissolution, voltammetry and AAS);

Learning outcomes
The aim is to acquire practical skills for analysis of real samples.
Solve typical problems in analytical chemistry, select the suitable analytical strategy for the preparation of real samples of different types
Prerequisites
The knowledge of basics of analytical chemistry and instrumental methods of analytical chemistry is recommended.

Student performance

For passing the subject student has to fulfill the condition of 100% attendance in the lectures, make all the requested analytical work in correct way and elaborate suitable laboratory protocols.
