Course content
- Educational and psychological counseling - meaning, development, present - Terminological issues, definitions and theoretical background - The educational- psychological counselling in the context of changes in education - Work of Psychologist in different types of school counseling facilities - Pedagogical and psychological diagnostics - principles in the processing of written reports - Educational and Psychological intervention - the principle of access to advisory - Questions of educational integration - the role of psychologist - Bullying and other types of violence at school - Advice for the gifted and talented - Education for choice of profession, career counseling - Ethics in educational-pedagogical counselling

Learning outcomes
Understand the system educational and psychological counselling and gain knowledge and skills for psychological consulting work in this area.
Students will have the knowledge and skills required for employment as a counseling psychologist in school counselling centres
Prerequisites
Passing 2.part of study psychology, interest in consultancy work in the field of education, completion of the internship in school counseling.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Student performance

Regular attendance at lectures and seminars. + Active participation in seminars (i.e., giving a presentation on your own practical or field trip experiences). + Demonstration of knowledge and study of the required literature = passing a written exam. Attendance Policy: A minimum attendance of 70% is required. In case of lower attendance, the submission of a seminar paper is also required. The topic must be consulted with the instructor in advance (either in person or by e-mail). The length of the paper depends on the number of absences beyond the allowed limit, as follows: 1 absence: 2 standard pages (3,600 characters, including spaces) 2 absences: 3 standard pages (5,400 characters, including spaces) 3 absences: 4 standard pages (7,200 characters, including spaces) 4 absences: 5 standard pages (9,000 characters, including spaces) 5 absences: 6 standard pages (10,800 characters, including spaces) 6 absences: 7 standard pages (12,600 characters, including spaces) No attendance: 8 standard pages (14,400 characters, including spaces)
