Contents of the course: 1. Basic characteristics of HR. 2. Explanation of HR strategy and of HR planning proces. 3. HR marketing 4. The role of HR department and HR specialists in organizations and institutions. 5. Definition and meaning of the main HR processes. 6. Explaination of problems of HR resources 7. Definition and explanation of employee relations. 8. Making and analyzing of job position. Work with integrated system of job position. 9. Characteristics of recruitment and selection process. 10. Explanation of acceptation and adaptation of employees.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of this subject is to teach the students the principles of Human Resources Management (further HR). The students will understand the system of HR and the interconnection of its all areas. The students will achieve the knowledge through practising various methods of HR, solving case studies, making presentations and group discussions.
After succesful passing of the course students will gain: Knowledge o Description of the current HR principles o Description of the specific subjects in HR process (employers, trade union, management). o Description of recruitment process and methods o Description of HR marketing principle Skills o Usage of HR marketing tools o Making a description of a job position o Make adaptation service o Practial usage of Labour code

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance, Dialog, Seminar Work
Credit requirements: - Students will work in groups (max. 4 members). - The assignment is to create a case study on the topic: "Creating a human resources strategy for a start-up company" - The outcome will be a presentation, that the group will present during class. Conditions: - The completed presentation must be sent to the lecturer at least 3 working days before the presentation date. - The presentation should last a maximum of 15 minutes (approx. 10 minutes presentation + 5 minutes discussion). - Students must be prepared to answer questions and explain individual parts of the presentation. - All group members must be present on the day of the presentation, so that everyone can take part in answering questions.
