Course content
|
1. Old-Russian literature - key terms of history of text 2. Treatment of text within one manuscript as compared to treatment of text in several manuscripts 3. Peculiarities of studying texts of chronicles. 4. Technique of editing and publishing original texts: academic edition, popular edition, edition of translation with commentaries etc. 5. Modern literature: "Canonical text", "author´s will" as a principle of selection of text for publication. 6. Role of self-censorship and censorship in modern Russian literature vs. the princple of publishing "the last hand". 7. Other types of resources (personal resources etc.) for the literary scholarship research, literary archives in the Russian Federation and in the Czech Republic.

Learning outcomes
|
The seminar presents essential issues, which are studied in Russian humanities by textology and science of resources (istochnikovedenije). A text of a literary work of art is the object of analysis.
