Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the lecture series is to present students with experts whose working language is Russian and who are professionally involved in Eastern Europe, the Baltic States and the Caucasus. The lectures will present the work of translators, journalists, researchers or members of the non-profit sector whose work is closely related to the whole Eastern European area as well as to Russian language.
Students will gain an overview of the applicability of the Russian language in the contemporary Czech Republic as well as abroad. They will also gain an overview of the functioning of various professions that deal with the Eastern European area in part or in total.

Prerequisites
|
Knowledge of Czech language at C1 level, knowledge of Russian language at B2 level.

|
Essay
maximum number of absences per semester: 2 lectures final seminar thesis (min. 4 pages)
