Two seminars, in a following order: 1. Prof. David Carr, Ph.D. (Tuesday 22. October, 14.00-15.30), 2. Prof. John P. Miller, Ph.D. (Tuesday 22. October, 15.45-17.15). To discuss on possibilities of addressing spiritual dimension of education, guideline questions: - Should spirituality be included in education? - Is it possible and appropriate to distinguish between spirituality and religiosity in education? - What type of spirituality can be meaningfully applied in the context of education? - Is it possible to consider the connection between education and spirituality only when a spiritual issue is explicitly taught, or is it possible for the theme of spirituality to be presented implicitly? If implicitly, then how? - Is it possible to consider the theme of spirituality differently from the perspective of teaching and from the perspective of learning? - How big a role does the age of the students play, or the methods used in the teaching process (didactics), the relationship between the teacher and the learner, the overall context, the possibilities provided by the educational system, etc.? - What are the possible practical implications of such education? - What are the limitations inherent in the theme of spirituality? What issues does this theme bring to the present day? Etc.

The course is divided into two seminar meetings with foremost authorities in philosophy and spirituality in education (in a following chronological order): 1. Prof. David Carr, Ph.D. (Tuesday 22. October, 14.00-15.30), 2. Prof. John P. Miller, Ph.D. (Tuesday 22. October, 15.45-17.15). Its aim is to allow discussion on possibilities of addressing spiritual dimension of education; to discuss, for example, following questions: - Should spirituality be included in education? Etc.
