The aim of the course is to explain the main evolution lines in the Italian literature since the middle of the 13-th century to the end of the 14-th century. The teaching and the text reading is concentrated to the fathers of the Italian literature (Dante, Petrarch, Boccaccio), but it tries to treat a wide review of genres and themes which are frequent in this period.
