Course content
Characterization of different post-structuralist critical movements and their comparison: - Psychoanalytical criticism - Thematical criticism - Theories of intertextuality - Reception aesthetics - Sociocriticism and ethnocriticism - Anthropological criticism - Theories of autobiography, autofiction and author´s posture - Criticism based on literary genres

Lecture, Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook)
  • Homework for Teaching - 60 hours per semester
  • Preparation for the Exam - 65 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
To initiate postgraduate students into contemporary trends in French literary criticism.
Improved orientation in various methodologies of literary analysis, acquirement of relevant terminologies in French language.

Student performance, Dialog

Students should be able to evaluate advantages and difficulties of particular critical approaches and to use them in literary analysis of various texts.
