Course content
|
Topics: 1. The tones, tone system, music notation, 2. beat and rhythm, 3. recitative and another indication 4. scales: the major, minor, elderly, special ones, 5. intervals, basic and derived sixth chords, ninth chord and turns, 7. musical acoustics, system of the tuning, 8. musical instruments and singing voices, music files and scores 9. basics of classical harmony: harmony and tonal thought, 10. triads, cadence chords, 11. and 12. the melodic tones.

Learning outcomes
|
The course provides basics of music theory necessary for the understanding of music in general and for the further study of theoretical music disciplines.
Practical mastering opf the basics of music theory - especially the safe knowledge of scales, intervals, chords and Italian terminology, notation, musical instruments, instrumentation and the acoustics.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Didactic Test
The study of literature, knowledge is checked regularly and in the final written test. Homework in the area of basic music theory (music notation, intervals, scales, chords). Selection and analysis of audio samples (beat and rhythm, melody - scale, harmony - chords).
