Course title: Post-Media Aesthetics of the Contemporary Music Video The course pursues three central aims: (1) to introduce students to current developments in audiovisual production as well as in its theoretical reflection; (2) to map and provide a set of productive interdisciplinary concepts drawn from audiovisual studies, media theory, and cultural analysis; (3) to refine students' analytical and argumentative skills while cultivating their capacity for critical and conceptual thought. In the Fall semester of 2025/2026, our focus will be on the aesthetics, intermedial contexts, and platformization of the music video.
