Course content
|
The course content varies from semester to semester, depending on current events and potential excursion destinations. Details are specified before the start of each course, if it is offered. Excursion destinations may include the KioSK, Wiener Festwochen or Nová Dráma festivals, or visits to theatre venues in Bratislava, Vienna, Crakow or Carnuntum.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to acquaint students with current events in theater culture and theatrology by means of excursions. Excursions are mainly focused on visiting performances, but also exhibitions, special lectures and conferences.
The student gets to know the current theater and performance culture.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Essay, Student performance
Adherence to the UP Study and Examination Regulations, the ability to empathize and cooperate in a group, especially when traveling together; the ability to overcome obstacles and endure a more demanding journey, especially at night. The student ends the course with a written reflection of the field trip in the scope of 2 standard pages sent to the excursion organiser.
