The seminar is based on a specific text material to characterize the different tendencies in the reception of antiquity in selected texts of the Czech literature of the19th and 20th century. It also followed a confrontation with the dominant Christian code.
After attending the seminar student will be able to analyze the literature reflecting the ancient heritage and differentiate in response to literary-historical stage of nuance and specifics of each approach. |
