Learning outcomes
|
Examine the knowledge and abilities acquired during the four-semester course, APSM1-4.The exam can be taken on condition that the student has successfully passed all the four semesters of the course.
Competences: reading, writing, listening and speaking (as practised in units 1-12 and in complementary materials). By attending the four-term course and passing the exam students reach the B1+ level as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Prerequisites
|
Courses APSM1-APSM4 and credits for every semester. Knowledge of English as defined by the Common European Framework - level B1+. The student will register for APSMZ in STAG at the beginning of the semester along with other courses.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Mark, Oral exam, Written exam
The exam is divided into the written and oral part. The written part (grammar + vocabulary) can be replaced by credit tests for every semester. For the oral part of the exam, students are supposed to find a subject-related text (5 pages) which should be submitted both electronically and in printed version at least 7 working days before the examination. The procedure of the oral exam will be following: -The monologue/dialogue related to the field of study - student's interests, the topic of the bachelor/master thesis, future plans, etc. -Working with the text - short summary etc. -Answering questions related to the text.
