Passive participation in a scholarly postgraduate conference in German language. The conference is not only intended for the postgraduate students who will do the exam in German language in their DSP. It is presumed they will participate in the discussion in the target language.

The main aim of the subject is to provide the postgraduate students from the Philosophical Faculty at Palacký University with an opportunity to participate passively in a scholarly conference of the postgraduate students of FF UP in German language. The conference is not only intended for the postgraduate students who will do the exam in German language in their DSP. The conference will be held 21.05.2018.
The students will: be able to understand and analyse papers delivered at the conference be able to take part in post-presentation discussions in German language |

Required are the skills in German language at level B1/B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, so that the students are able to understand presented topics and participate in a discussion in the target language.
