Course content
1. Human capital, creative human capital 2. Differences between national cultures based on Hofstede's cultural dimensions 3. Cultural differences in defining and understanding creativity across cultures 4. Individual and group creativity in different cultures, its perceived value 5. The importance of key intercultural factors in the work of creative professionals 6. The impact of cultural differences in the international environment on management 7. Relationship culture under the influence of national and organizational culture 8. Hierarchy and individual status, perception of time, and communication styles across cultures 9. The relationship between creativity, management style, and culture 10. Intercultural synergy and its use in the creative industries 11-12. Case studies from intercultural/multicultural environments, analysis, discussion

Learning outcomes
The course builds upon the Management and Leadership course. Its aim is to prepare students for working in intercultural/multicultural environments. An intercultural manager is responsible for ensuring that communication between colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders is not hindered by cultural influences or misunderstandings arising from them. Therefore, a manager must possess intercultural awareness as well as the ability to leverage the potential of cultural diversity. To develop these competencies, the course will combine theoretical foundations with practical case studies from real-world settings.

Knowledge acquired in the Management and Leadership course.
