Familiarization with the art of a historically defined European region, including documentation, protection and interpretation of cultural heritage (museums, galleries, libraries) and the current state of knowledge of relevant art-historical issues.
Students become familiar with the cultural heritage of visited sites, regional methods of heritage conservation and interpretation, and with the specific topics of art-historical research connected with the particular artifacts. |
