Written part: based on the contents of courses Japanese 1 and 2. Oral part: structured dialogue in Japanese based on topics discussed in courses Conversation 1 and 2.

Learning outcomes

A comprehensive examination in Japanese language after the first year of the B.A. study.
The student has demonstrated the following knowledge and competences: - understands and makes productive use of basic grammar constructions and vocabulary (in the extent of Japanese 1 and 2) - is able to use hiragana, katakana and almost 500 characters - is able to speak on basic, everyday-life topics (see Conversation 1 and 2)

Prerequisites

Knowledge of the Japanese language covering the courses Japanese 1 and 2.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Mark
written test (the minimal requirement for passing is 70%), oral examination - structured interview in Japanese
