The first part of the two-semester course for first-year students focuses mainly on grasping basic Japanese grammatical structures and developing vocabulary. Part of the instruction is taught by a Czech teacher, the other part is taught by a native speaker, who concentrates mainly on drilling and practising new grammar points.
